EPIC Application Trainer

EPIC Application Trainer - Marimn Health Marimn Health seeks an EPIC Application Trainer to deliver engaging EMR training that supports high-quality, culturally grounded care. In this role, you will design and facilitate EPIC workflows for clinical and administrative staff, create user-friendly training materials, and provide at-the-elbow support during go-lives and upgrades. Partnering with clinical, IT, and education teams, you'll optimize documentation, promote user adoption, and integrate tribal culture and holistic wellness values into all learning experiences while supporting staff growth and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and evaluate EPIC application training for clinical, administrative, and support staff.
• Develop and maintain training materials, workflows, tip sheets, and e-learning content aligned with Marimn Health standards.
• Conduct new hire, upgrade, and optimization training in both classroom and virtual formats.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand workflows and translate them into effective EPIC training.
• Provide at-the-elbow support during go-lives, upgrades, and workflow changes to ensure smooth adoption.
• Assess learner competency, provide feedback, and recommend follow-up coaching or retraining as needed.
• Incorporate tribal culture, values, and patient-centered practices into training scenarios and materials.
• Collaborate with IT, informatics, and quality teams to ensure EPIC training supports compliance and documentation standards.
• Track training attendance, completion, and outcomes using the LMS and report on key metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training programs, incorporating user feedback and system enhancements.
