Goodwin Motor Group is seeking an Automotive Diesel Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel vehicles in our busy, customer-focused service department. Responsibilities include performing inspections, engine and driveline repairs, electrical and emission diagnostics, and factory-recommended maintenance. You'll use OEM scan tools, service information, and repair equipment to deliver accurate, timely work. Work closely with advisors and teammates to ensure clear communication, quality control, and a positive customer experience. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, and related systems
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks
- Use OEM scan tools and service information to troubleshoot concerns
- Document findings, repairs, and parts used on repair orders
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
- Follow OEM and dealership standards for quality and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and care for shop tools/equipment
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications
- Support a positive, customer-first culture in the service department
