Senior Applications Engineer

Calgon Carbon Corporation seeks a Senior Applications Engineer to lead technical solutions for activated carbon and filtration technologies in manufacturing environments. You will design and optimize purification systems for water, air, and industrial processes, translate customer requirements into engineered solutions, and support sales with technical expertise. Partner with R&D, operations, and manufacturing to scale solutions, troubleshoot complex performance issues, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Design and optimize activated carbon and filtration applications for water, air, and industrial processes
• Translate customer requirements into engineered system solutions and specifications
• Provide advanced technical support to sales, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Lead application testing, performance analysis, and troubleshooting of complex issues
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and operations to scale and improve solutions
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and application guidelines
