Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a PT Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. Act as a knowledgeable resource on products, repairs, and music education options while meeting sales goals and using POS systems accurately. You'll help lead daily store operations, support merchandising and inventory, and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and performance-driven environment that advances music education in the community.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on instrument sales, rentals, accessories, and lesson options
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash securely
• Support opening/closing procedures and daily store operations
• Maintain merchandising standards and organize inventory and displays
• Promote and enroll students in private lessons and educational programs
• Provide knowledgeable support on band and orchestra instruments and repairs
• Deliver friendly, inclusive service to students, parents, and educators
• Coordinate with school service reps and educators when needed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
