Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. You will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, develop individualized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and performances, and support school music programs. Partner with store staff to recommend instruments, accessories, and printed music that support student progress. The ideal candidate has strong performance skills, prior teaching experience, and the ability to inspire and motivate students in a friendly, student-focused, and community-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and performances
• Assess student progress and communicate with parents and guardians
• Collaborate with store staff to recommend instruments and accessories
• Promote music education programs and student enrollment
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Support school music programs and community music events
