Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our student-focused retail store. In this role, you'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons; manage POS transactions; and support merchandising and inventory. You'll collaborate with a friendly, performance-oriented team to meet sales goals, promote music education, and connect students, parents, and educators with resources that support learning and school music programs. Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selection of instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Drive sales and meet or exceed store and individual sales goals
• Operate POS system, handle cash, and process transactions accurately
• Maintain merchandising standards and product displays
• Support inventory management, including stocking and cycle counts
• Promote music education programs to students, parents, and educators
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on band and orchestra products
• Collaborate with store team in a student-focused, service-driven environment
• Resolve basic customer issues and ensure a positive store experience
• Support special events, school outreach, and community engagement activities
