Violin Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking a passionate Violin Teacher to provide high quality private and group lessons in our retail lesson studio. You will develop lesson plans, teach proper technique, music theory, and performance skills to students of all ages and levels, and prepare them for recitals, auditions, and school performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to support enrollment growth, maintain accurate scheduling and progress records, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Responsibilities

• Provide private and group violin lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans focusing on technique, theory, and musicality
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate schedules, attendance, and progress notes
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student goals and development
• Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment and studio growth
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Recommend appropriate instruments, accessories, and materials to support learning
• Participate in studio events and promotional activities as needed
