Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher for our retail location, delivering high quality private and small group lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels. You'll develop personalized lesson plans, prepare students for recitals and school performances, and track progress while promoting our instruments, accessories, and educational services. Collaborate with store staff and school service reps to support local music programs. Ideal candidates have strong performance and pedagogy skills, reliable communication with parents, and a commitment to student focused, inclusive music education.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and small-group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and curriculum to support student goals
• Prepare students for recitals, school performances, and auditions
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about progress and practice expectations
• Collaborate with store staff and school service representatives to support local music programs
• Promote instruments, accessories, and lesson programs offered by the store
• Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and student progress records
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment in lesson studios
