Piano Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a Piano Music Teacher to provide high quality private and group piano lessons in our retail store. You will assess student goals, create lesson plans, teach technique and music theory, and prepare students for recitals and performances. Collaborate with store staff to support lesson enrollment, communicate with parents, and maintain accurate schedules and progress records. Ideal candidates have strong piano proficiency, prior teaching or tutoring experience, and a passion for inspiring students in a friendly, student focused retail and education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group piano lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Assess student goals and design individualized lesson plans and curriculum
• Teach piano technique, music theory, and repertoire appropriate to each student
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and auditions
• Maintain lesson schedules, attendance, and student progress records
• Communicate regularly with parents and students about progress and goals
• Collaborate with store staff to promote and grow the lesson program
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment in the studio
