MATERIAL HANDLER

As a Material Handler at Grainger in the Warehouse & Manufacturing department, you'll support daily operations across the supply chain by receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently and safely. You will load and unload shipments, pick and stage orders, use RF scanners and warehouse systems to maintain accurate inventory, and keep work areas organized. Working in a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and open communication, you'll partner closely with warehouse and manufacturing teams to meet customer and production commitments while following all safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against documentation
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and on time
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS systems
• Follow Grainger safety procedures and comply with OSHA standards
• Organize warehouse locations to optimize material flow and space
• Report inventory discrepancies, damages, and quality issues promptly
• Collaborate with warehouse and manufacturing teams to meet production and shipping deadlines
