Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG

Lifeteam is seeking a dedicated and skilled Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG to join our emergency medical service team. This role is critical to our mission to provide rapid and effective medical response through air transport. The pilot will be responsible for operating a helicopter in various conditions, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of medical teams and patients. Key duties include flight planning, aircraft maintenance checks, and active collaboration with healthcare professionals to facilitate urgent medical care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating complex avionics, have exceptional situational awareness, and adhere to strict safety and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate helicopters for medical emergency response, ensuring prompt and secure transport of patients and medical personnel.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring that the aircraft is in perfect operational condition.
• Collaborate closely with ground and medical teams to coordinate efficient patient transfers.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local aviation regulations and company policies to maintain safety and compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training and emergency drills to remain current with the latest flight safety standards and medical protocols.
• Manage flight logs and maintain communication with dispatch and health care facilities to optimize mission success.
