Med-Trans Corporation seeks a Helicopter Pilot to perform safe, efficient air medical transport for critically ill and injured patients. In this Emergency Services role, you will conduct preflight planning, complete safe takeoffs and landings in diverse conditions, and coordinate closely with medical crews, dispatch, and ground EMS. Pilots follow strict FAA and company safety protocols, participate in ongoing training, and support readiness for 24/7 missions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct safe, timely helicopter air medical transports for emergency and interfacility missions
  • Perform thorough preflight, in-flight, and post-flight inspections and documentation
  • Plan and execute flights in compliance with FAA and company regulations and SOPs
  • Evaluate weather and terrain to ensure safe go/no-go decisions
  • Coordinate closely with medical crew, dispatch, and ground EMS for mission planning and execution
  • Maintain aircraft readiness, cleanliness, and security at the base
  • Participate in recurrent training, check rides, and safety/clinical drills
  • Adhere to safety management systems and report hazards or incidents promptly
  • Support 24/7 operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational schedule
  • Represent Med-Trans professionally with partner hospitals, EMS agencies, and the public
