Med-Trans Corporation seeks an experienced Helicopter Pilot to support life-saving air medical transport missions. In this role, you will safely operate helicopters for emergency and interfacility patient transports, performing thorough pre- and post-flight checks and adhering to all FAA and company safety standards. You will collaborate closely with highly trained medical teams, dispatch, and ground partners to deliver rapid, mission-critical care across diverse environments. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate helicopters for emergency and interfacility medical transports in varied weather and terrain conditions
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks in compliance with FAA and company standards
  • Coordinate closely with medical crew, dispatch, and ground agencies to ensure timely, efficient patient transport
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, risk assessment procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, reports, and documentation for each mission
  • Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and check rides to sustain and improve flight proficiency
  • Support a culture of teamwork, communication, and clinical excellence with aviation and medical teams
  • Assist with mission planning, route selection, and fuel management to optimize safety and efficiency
  • Engage in safety briefings, debriefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Represent Med-Trans professionally with partners, patients, and the community
