Rotor Wing Pilot

Lifeteam is seeking a dedicated Rotor Wing Pilot to join our emergency medical service team. In this role, you will be responsible for piloting and navigating rotor wing aircrafts used in medical emergencies. Our pilots play a critical role in our mission to provide rapid response and top-tier medical services where they are most needed. The position requires not only advanced piloting skills but also a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotor wing aircraft safely and efficiently under various conditions.
• Coordinate with medical personnel and dispatchers to facilitate effective patient transportation.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding air transportation.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and ensure all equipment functions properly.
• Participate in emergency and safety training sessions.
• Document flights and maintain accurate records as required by law and company policy.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in piloting rotor wing aircrafts, particularly those used in emergency medical situations.
• Strong communication skills to interact with medical teams, dispatchers, and air traffic control.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure in emergency scenarios.
