Inkjet Trainee

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks an Inkjet Trainee to support our Printing Media manufacturing and production operations. Working on our inkjet press line, you'll assist with machine setup, paper and ink loading, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting to ensure accurate, timely output for client campaigns. You'll follow production schedules, maintain a safe, clean work area, and document runs. This hands-on role offers close mentorship, exposure to high-impact public affairs projects, and growth toward operating inkjet equipment independently in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inkjet press setup, including substrates and ink loading
• Monitor runs for print quality, color, and registration
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and routine maintenance tasks
• Follow production schedules and job tickets accurately
• Document run data, counts, and any production issues
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area
• Support troubleshooting under guidance of senior operators
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards
