TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks an Inkjet Trainee to support Manufacturing & Production for print and media deliverables. Working closely with senior press operators, you'll learn to set up, run, and maintain inkjet equipment; monitor print quality; and assist with scheduling and material handling. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates eager to build technical skills in high-volume printing while contributing to fast-paced, issue-focused campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and operating inkjet printing equipment under supervision
  • Monitor print runs for quality, registration, and color consistency
  • Perform basic cleaning, maintenance, and minor adjustments on inkjet presses
  • Load and unload paper, ink, and materials; stage jobs according to schedules
  • Read and follow job tickets, production specs, and plant procedures
  • Report equipment issues, quality problems, and safety concerns promptly
  • Support senior operators in changeovers, testing, and calibration
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area
  • Document production counts, waste, and downtime accurately
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards
