Inkjet Trainee

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks an Inkjet Trainee to support our Printing Media manufacturing and production operations. In this entry-level role, you'll learn to operate and maintain inkjet presses, prepare print files, perform quality checks, and assist with machine setup and changeovers. Working closely with experienced operators, you'll gain hands-on training in digital print workflows, color control, basic troubleshooting, and safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and shutdown of inkjet presses
• Prepare, load, and verify print files according to job specifications
• Monitor print quality and perform regular visual and measured inspections
• Support routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor adjustments on equipment
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production area
• Document production counts, waste, and machine settings accurately
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to meet schedules and quality targets
• Participate in ongoing training on inkjet technology and workflows
