CDL-A Driver

Vistar, a leading wholesale distributor of food and beverages, seeks an Hourly CDL-A Driver to safely transport products to vending, retail, theater, concessions, hospitality, and coffee service customers. In this fast-paced, on-the-road role, you'll load and unload freight, follow assigned routes, complete pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate delivery documentation. You'll interact directly with customers, representing Vistar's commitment to service excellence while working within a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL-A vehicles to deliver food and beverage products to assigned customer locations
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Load and unload products using appropriate equipment while minimizing product damage
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery windows to ensure on-time service
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and electronic records as required
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at every delivery stop
• Comply with all DOT, company, and safety regulations and standards
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
• Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport
• Support a collaborative, team-focused environment and assist colleagues as needed
