Northwest Medical Center Houghton is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its Emergency Medicine Program in Tucson, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a newly built, state-of-the-art emergency department with strong physician collaboration, structured coverage, and competitive compensation, including night differential pay. Emergency Medicine Program Highlights
  • Annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 17,500 visits
  • 20-bed Emergency Department with 6 Fast Track beds
  • 24 hours of physician coverage daily (8 9 hour shifts)
  • 12 hours of Nurse Practitioner coverage daily
  • Cerner EMR system

About the Hospital

Northwest Medical Center - Houghton is a 44-bed acute care hospital serving east Tucson. The hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology with cardiac catheterization, orthopedics, minimally invasive surgery, tele-neurology, gastrointestinal and pulmonary services, and women's health services, including a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
