General Orthopedic/Trauma APP needed in Dallas, TX
Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System (MHS) in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join Dallas Orthopedic Trauma Institute (DOTI) at our flagship campus in Dallas, TX to work collaboratively with our Ortho/Trauma of physicians.
This position will focus on surgical support, pre- and post-operative management, patient education, and continuity of care. The Physician Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the overall growth of our Ortho/Trauma team.

Position Highlights:
- Full time position to provide SURGICAL SUPPORT, patient care evaluation and treatment in office and hospital setting under physician supervision, including new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative management
- Surgical Assist with Orthopedic Trauma surgeons
- Surgical PA experience, preferred
- Shared Call with other APP providers in practice, required
- Manage patient care plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient/family education
- Surgical Assist with Orthopedic Trauma surgeons
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Board-certified Physician Assistant in the State of Texas
- Active Texas medical license
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The Physician Assistant will provide patient care for polytrauma patients with complex musculoskeletal injuries including limb threatening injuries, pelvic and acetabular fractures. The center maintains an established geriatric fracture program and ACS TQIP registry.
The Physician Assistant will provide patient care at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a 585-bed acute care teaching hospital with a Level I ACS trauma designation. Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a Magnet -designated hospital and was ranked by Becker s Hospital Review in 2025 as one of the top 150 places to work. It is home to the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas.
