Custodial Services Worker I

ARAMARK is seeking a Custodial Services Worker I to support Harding University Facilities. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, offices, restrooms, dining and common areas, ensuring a safe, orderly, and welcoming campus environment. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, surface disinfection, restroom restocking, and minor room setup or furniture moves. You'll follow safety and chemical-handling procedures, operate basic cleaning equipment, and respond to work requests while working collaboratively in a team-focused, service-oriented culture that values respect and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, dining, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and recycling
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock supplies
• Operate basic custodial equipment safely
• Follow chemical-handling and safety procedures
• Support room setup, minor furniture moves, and event preparation
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Adhere to Aramark and campus cleaning standards
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Provide courteous, service-focused support to campus occupants
