Stitcher Operator

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a detail-oriented Stitcher Operator to support our print and advocacy materials production. In this on-site role, you'll set up and run stitcher and related bindery equipment to produce high-quality booklets, reports, and campaign collateral. Responsibilities include reading job tickets, ensuring accurate setup, monitoring runs, and inspecting output for quality and consistency. You'll perform routine maintenance, follow strict safety standards, and collaborate closely with our small, hands-on team to meet tight deadlines for public affairs and strategic communications campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor stitcher equipment for print and booklet jobs
• Review job tickets to confirm specifications, quantities, and deadlines
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with production and account teams to meet tight deadlines
• Track output, document production data, and report any production issues
• Assist with other bindery and finishing tasks as needed
