Stitcher Machine Operator

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a Stitcher Machine Operator to support production of high-impact print and advocacy materials. In this on-site role, you will set up, operate, and maintain stitcher machines, ensuring accurate, high-quality finishing for reports, mailers, and campaign collateral. You'll monitor output, perform adjustments, troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, and complete quality checks. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will coordinate with production and client teams to meet tight deadlines while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor stitcher machines for print and advocacy materials
• Perform routine adjustments to ensure accurate stitching, alignment, and trim quality
• Inspect finished pieces for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate repairs when needed
• Complete production logs and follow scheduling and workflow priorities
• Follow all safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance procedures
• Collaborate with production and account teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
