CDL-A Truck Drivers

As a CDL-A Truck Driver with Hogan1, you'll play an integral role in continuing our tradition of transportation excellence, helping us move goods efficiently across the country.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods and materials over long distances.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Manage loading and unloading of cargo, ensure correct counts, and inspect goods to validate compliance with standards and regulations.
• Use on-board LOG systems to document travel and rest periods to remain compliant with state and federal regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations of cargo and driving to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain vehicle in proper condition by performing regular checks and routine maintenance as required.
• Ensure complete communication with the logistics team to update on progress and any immediate issues.

Required Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver with a safe driving record.
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
