Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee
Safelite is hiring an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee to learn professional vehicle glass repair, replacement, and calibration support in the Transportation & Warehousing industry. In this hands-on, field-based role, you'll assist experienced technicians with safely removing and installing windshields and other auto glass, preparing vehicles, and supporting advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) calibrations. Responsibilities
- Assist with removing, replacing, and repairing auto glass under supervision
- Prepare vehicles and work areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety compliance
- Use tools and materials to install windshields and other vehicle glass components
- Support glass calibration procedures for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
- Follow work orders, documentation, and quality standards accurately
- Provide friendly, professional customer service on-site and in the field
- Adhere to all safety, vehicle handling, and PPE requirements
- Participate in paid training, coaching, and skills development programs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good condition
- Work collaboratively with teammates to meet productivity and service goals
