Marvin is seeking a Controls Team Supervisor to lead a hands-on controls group in our manufacturing operations for premium windows, doors, and skylights. In this role, you will supervise controls technicians, prioritize daily work, and ensure automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors run reliably and safely. You will collaborate with engineering and production to reduce downtime, improve processes, and support new equipment installations. This on-site role is ideal for a technically strong leader who values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement within a people-first, family-owned company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a controls team supporting manufacturing operations for windows, doors, and skylights
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily work for controls technicians to meet production and quality goals
  • Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and automation systems to minimize downtime
  • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and production to implement process improvements and new equipment
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and standard work procedures are followed on all controls-related tasks
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering continuous improvement and skill development
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive root-cause problem solving for recurring controls issues
  • Support capital projects, upgrades, and commissioning of automated equipment and control systems
