Food Prep Worker

ARAMARK seeks a Food Prep Worker to support meal service at Spring-Ford Area School District. In this role, you will prepare ingredients, assemble simple menu items, portion and package food, and follow recipes and direction from supervisors. You'll maintain a clean, sanitary work area by washing, labeling, and storing food properly, following all food safety, HACCP, and allergy guidelines. Duties include operating basic kitchen equipment, restocking stations, and assisting with setup and breakdown. You'll work as part of a diverse, team-oriented environment focused on safety, service, and creating a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients and simple menu items according to recipes and standards
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures at all times
• Set up, stock, and maintain food prep and serving stations
• Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Label, store, and rotate food following FIFO and allergy guidelines
• Assist with meal assembly, packaging, and service for students and staff
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Support opening, closing, and shift change tasks
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
• Follow Aramark and school district policies on safety and customer service
