Ontology Software Developer

Vantor seeks an Ontology Software Developer to design and implement knowledge graphs and data models powering modern web and cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to translate complex business domains into semantic models, integrate data from multiple systems, and build APIs and services that expose structured knowledge to applications and analytics. Using agile practices, you'll contribute across the stack, from modeling and transformation pipelines to scalable cloud deployment, automation, testing, and performance optimization in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graph structures for client solutions.
• Implement data models and transformation pipelines integrating multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop APIs and services exposing semantic models to applications, search, and analytics.
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to translate domain requirements into semantic models.
• Deploy and optimize ontology-backed services on cloud platforms with attention to scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data quality, performance, and model integrity over time.
• Document models, patterns, and implementation details for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
