Pediatric Urology Physician

Jackson and Coker is seeking a Pediatric Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Michigan, offering 24-hour call coverage. This role involves managing urgent and emergent inpatient consults and rounding on hospitalized patients, with potential for full-time or part-time engagement through 2027. The ideal candidate will have experience in Pediatric Urology and be prepared to handle common activations such as testicular torsion.

Practice Info

• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Average call activations: Approximately 4 per week
• Most common activation: Testicular torsion; occasional septic stone
• Support staff: 2 pediatric urologists
• Facility Trauma Level: Level I

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to multiple calls overnight from local emergency centers and parents
• Perform urgent/emergent inpatient consults
• Round on hospitalized patients

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Urology with Pediatric Urology experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• State license required to apply
