Imagine opening a new project packet: detailed blueprints, material list, and a deadline. You map the sequence, prep 304 stainless in 20-12 gauge, and lay down crisp TIG beads that need minimal cleanup. The result? Flawless commercial kitchen components-sinks, tables, cabinetry, hoods, and more-built by you and the team at J&K Commercial Construction.

Your mission
  • Turn shop drawings into accurate layouts, assemblies, and finished parts
  • Set up for TIG welding on 304 stainless across 20-gauge to 12-gauge thicknesses
  • Execute clean, consistent welds on custom stainless components and assemblies
  • Grind, blend, and polish to a professional finish
  • Verify quality at every step-dimensions, fit, and visual standards
  • Keep welding equipment in top condition with routine maintenance
  • Manage time effectively to meet production goals
  • Maintain a safe, organized workstation and communicate well with teammates
About you
  • Experienced TIG welder with stainless steel
  • Hands-on background with 304 stainless from 18-gauge to 12-gauge (preferred)
  • Confident reading blueprints and fabrication drawings
  • Comfortable using electric and pneumatic tools for grinding and polishing
  • Detail-focused, quality-driven, and mechanically inclined
  • Can read a tape measure and handle basic math
  • Hold a valid driver's license and can lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow-additional training offered for the right person
