Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Adolescent Medicine physician to join their collaborative team at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality patient care to teens and young adults, treating a variety of adolescent health conditions, and collaborating with other Children's Hospital Subspecialists. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the care and treatment of young people up to age 26 and will be integral in the education and training of residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, developmentally appropriate primary and specialty care to adolescents and young adults
  • Provide preventive services
  • Manage acute and chronic illnesses
  • Provide reproductive health care
  • Offer behavioral health support
  • Provide guidance on healthy development and lifestyle
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being during the transition from childhood to adulthood

Compensation

  • Compensation floor of $280,000 for the first two years of the employment contract, plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
  • $100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (this will be subject to a contractual agreement specifying all details)

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a residency in Adolescent Medicine or completion of a residency in Pediatrics followed by a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine
  • Current medical license in each state of practice
  • State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada)
  • H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
