Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist to join their well-established group in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive dermatological care to patients of all ages, utilizing state-of-the-art technology. The ideal candidate will be a general dermatologist with potential for individual specialty interests, including pediatric dermatology.

Practice Info

  • Join a successful, well-established group of 3 physicians, 2 mid-levels, and 1 dermatopathologist
  • Ideal candidate would be a general dermatologist with support group for individual specialty interests
  • An interest in Pediatric Dermatology would be a plus
  • State-of-the-art technology includes Candela V-beam, CO2 laser, Diode laser, and Phototherapy unit
  • Surgical procedures are available

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examination
  • Provide consultative services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical and surgical care to patients of all ages

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency in Dermatology of at least 4 years' duration (transitional year + 3 years' dermatology residency) accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • Demonstrate active involvement in at least 100 Dermatology procedures in the last 24 months (for applicants not applying directly out of residency)
