Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Surgeon to join their Transplant Surgery department in Fargo, North Dakota. This role involves joining a developed kidney transplant surgery team and partnering with an experienced transplant surgeon. Responsibilities

  • Performs transplant surgery
  • Performs laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy
  • Performs inpatient & ambulatory patient management
  • Performs inpatient transplant consultations

Requirements

  • Completion of an ASTS-certified transplant surgery training program
  • UNOS certification
  • Ability to obtain ND license required
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a fellowship in Transplant Surgery
  • Must hold an active medical license for each state in which the physician practices - either physically or virtually
  • Must have a DEA for each state in which the physician physically practices
  • Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada)
  • If physician is not board certified upon commencement of employment, they must achieve board certification as outlined in the privileging documents
