Manufacturing Technician

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production of high-quality advocacy materials for policy and public affairs campaigns. You will operate and maintain light manufacturing/print equipment, manage materials, inspect output for accuracy, and ensure on-time delivery to client teams. Working in a small, collaborative environment, you'll partner closely with strategists and project managers, follow precise specifications, document production data, and uphold strict quality and safety standards while supporting fast-paced campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain light manufacturing/print equipment to produce advocacy materials
• Follow detailed job specs, proofs, and schedules to meet client and campaign deadlines
• Conduct quality checks and measurements to ensure accuracy and consistency of output
• Track materials, manage basic inventory, and prepare work areas for production runs
• Document production data, issues, and resolutions in logs or production systems
• Collaborate with project managers and strategists to prioritize and sequence jobs
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems when needed
• Adhere to all safety, OSHA, and facility procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Assist with packaging, finishing, and shipping of completed materials to internal teams
• Support continuous improvement efforts in workflow, quality, and throughput
