TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support production of high-quality communications, print, and advocacy materials. You will operate and maintain production equipment, follow technical specifications, monitor quality, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with account and creative teams, you'll translate client requirements into accurate production runs, track inventory, and uphold safety and compliance standards. This role suits a hands-on technician who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven public affairs setting.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing and print/production equipment according to specifications
  • Interpret work orders, layouts, and technical instructions to set up accurate production runs
  • Monitor product quality, perform inspections, and make adjustments to meet standards
  • Track materials, supplies, and inventory to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Document production metrics, issues, and maintenance activities in tracking systems
  • Collaborate with account, creative, and operations teams to align production with client requirements
  • Follow safety, environmental, and compliance procedures in the production area
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment problems and coordinating basic repairs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Help train team members on production processes and quality expectations
