Overview:
Our surgical practice in Rochester is seeking a Physician Assistant to support spine surgery cases, with some cranial procedures, alongside post-operative patient management. New graduates and experienced PAs are both encouraged to apply.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Competitive salary: $130,000 $150,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with spine surgery cases, including some cranial procedures
- Support surgical teams on surgery days
- Conduct post-operative office visits
- Round on hospitalized patients following practice-performed surgeries
- Manage post-op patients in both office and hospital settings
- Review and interpret relevant imaging studies (MRI, CT, X-ray) in a surgical context
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, or orthopedic surgery, including post-op patient management
- Familiarity with spine imaging studies and cranial/neurosurgical exposure
- Current or obtainable DEA registration in New York preferred
