Machine Operation

HNI Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up, run, and monitor production machinery to meet safety, quality, and output goals. You'll interpret work orders and basic drawings, perform measurements and inspections, and complete routine adjustments and changeovers. Daily duties include material loading, basic machine troubleshooting, and accurate documentation of production data. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, follow 5S and continuous improvement practices, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines to meet production targets
• Load materials, perform basic adjustments, and complete changeovers as needed
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards in a plant environment
• Inspect parts using basic measuring tools and record production and quality data
• Identify and report equipment issues; perform basic troubleshooting
• Work collaboratively with team members and support continuous improvement/5
• S activities
