Inkjet Trainee

TSG - The Sheridan Group seeks an Inkjet Trainee to support manufacturing and production of high-quality printed materials. In this hands-on role, you'll learn to set up, operate, and maintain inkjet printing equipment, monitor print quality, manage materials, and follow safety and quality standards. Working in a collaborative, high-performance environment, you'll receive close mentorship from senior operators and supervisors while gaining exposure to production workflows that support strategic communications and public affairs campaigns for leading corporate, nonprofit, and association clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, operation, and shutdown of inkjet printing equipment
• Monitor print quality and make basic adjustments under supervision
• Load materials and manage consumables to minimize downtime
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks
• Follow safety, quality, and production procedures at all times
• Accurately follow job tickets and production specifications
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines
• Document production counts, issues, and basic maintenance actions
