Responsibilities

• Operate CDL A tractor-trailers safely as part of a professional driving team on over-the-road routes.
• Transport freight for major shippers while meeting on-time pickup and delivery requirements.
• Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, HOS, and company safety regulations and maintain accurate ELD and logbook records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and teammates to coordinate routes and resolve issues.
• Secure and handle freight according to company and customer standards, including basic load checks.
• Practice defensive driving and safe operating techniques in all weather, traffic, and road conditions.
• Care for assigned equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly and following repair procedures.
• Participate in required safety meetings, ongoing training, and performance reviews.
• Represent Transco Lines professionally with customers and the public, supporting a driver-first culture.
