Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician II to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced, team-based environment. In this role, you'll use modern diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns, complete scheduled services, and ensure all work meets safety, quality, and OEM standards. You'll collaborate closely with service advisors, fellow technicians, and cross-functional teams, accurately document work in digital systems, and help mentor junior technicians. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to OEM and company standards.
  • Use advanced diagnostic scanners and software to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues.
  • Complete scheduled services, safety inspections, and quality checks within established time standards.
  • Accurately document findings, repair recommendations, parts used, and labor in digital service systems.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines, including proper use of tools and PPE.
  • Assist in mentoring and supporting junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area and care for shop tools and equipment.
  • Stay current with technical training, OEM bulletins, and emerging automotive technologies.
