Automotive Mechanic Technician II

Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Mechanic Technician II to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles in a fast-paced, on-site automotive environment. You'll perform advanced diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, brake and suspension work, and preventative maintenance using modern scan tools and OEM information. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, and HVAC issues on a variety of vehicles.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, safety inspections, and road tests to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, OEM software, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex concerns.
• Document findings, repair recommendations, and work performed accurately in repair orders.
• Collaborate with service advisors, peers, and leadership to meet quality and turnaround goals.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and Cox Automotive quality standards in the shop.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending process enhancements.
• Provide occasional guidance to junior technicians and assist with training as needed.
