Automotive Technician
Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician for our Manheim Utah operation. In this role, you'll use modern diagnostic tools and OEM standards to inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles moving through our auction and remarketing channels. Responsibilities include performing thorough diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, pre- and post-sale inspections, and accurate documentation in Cox Automotive systems. You'll collaborate closely with operations and inspection teams to prioritize work, ensure vehicle safety and reliability, and support a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a variety of vehicles in the Manheim Utah auction environment
- Use OEM and digital diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and drivetrain issues
- Complete repair orders accurately in Cox Automotive systems and follow company and OEM standards
- Conduct pre- and post-sale vehicle inspections to ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with service advisers, inspectors, and auction operations teams to prioritize workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area, following all safety and environmental regulations
- Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to supervisors and internal customers
- Stay current on evolving vehicle technology, telematics, and diagnostic software through ongoing training
