Automotive Technician

Cox Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician for our Manheim Texas Hobby location. In this role, you'll perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to support safe, efficient auction operations. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, follow repair procedures, and document work in our systems. Partner closely with operations and sales teams to prioritize vehicles and meet turnaround targets. Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles for auction readiness
• Use scan tools and service information to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete preventive maintenance, including brakes, tires, fluids, and basic engine services
• Document findings, parts used, and repairs performed in company systems accurately and promptly
• Follow all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with auction and operations teams to prioritize work and meet turnaround targets
• Test-drive vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure quality standards
• Communicate clearly with supervisors about vehicle status, parts needs, and timelines
