Auto Technician

Join Cox Automotive as a Manheim Auto Technician, supporting vehicle remarketing operations in our Automotive department. You'll perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and auction readiness. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, routine maintenance, road tests, and accurate repair documentation in shop systems. You'll collaborate with service advisors and auction teams, follow OEM and Manheim standards, and uphold strong safety and quality practices. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections for auction readiness and safety
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and manual tests
• Complete repairs and maintenance including brakes, suspension, fluids, and tires
• Document findings, labor, and parts accurately in shop systems
• Collaborate with service advisors and auction teams to prioritize work
• Conduct quality checks and road tests to verify successful repairs
• Follow OEM, Manheim, and safety standards in all work performed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support continuous improvement of shop processes and workflows
• Provide occasional guidance to junior technicians as needed
