Pediatric Hospitalist

Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens opportunity in Virginia, starting November 1, 2026, and continuing ongoing. This role involves per diem shifts with 24-hour rounding and call responsibilities in a community hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, family-centered care and engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.

Practice Info

• 17-bed pediatric floor newborn nursery supporting approximately 2,400 annual deliveries
• Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
• Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
• Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists available onsite and via telehealth
• Work alongside a team providing NICU services for continuity of care

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Virginia license
• Cannot have been clinically inactive for 1 year or more
• Must have at least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty they are applying for
