Registered Nurse Program Coordinator Ortho Surgery

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse Program Coordinator - Ortho Surgery to lead coordinated, patient-centered orthopedic surgical care across the continuum. In this role, you will manage ortho surgery programs, streamline care pathways, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, rehab, and ancillary teams to optimize quality, safety, and patient experience. You will guide patients and families through pre- and post-operative care, monitor outcomes, support process improvement, and champion Intermountain's mission-driven, team-based culture focused on compassion, innovation, and community health.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orthopedic surgery programs, ensuring seamless pre , intra , and post operative care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, rehab, and ancillary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Develop and refine care pathways, protocols, and education materials for ortho patients
• Monitor clinical quality metrics, identify gaps, and drive performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as primary RN resource for patients and families, providing education and navigation support
• Lead case reviews, huddles, and interdisciplinary meetings to support safe, efficient care
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Support staff onboarding, training, and competency related to orthopedic surgical care
• Partner with leadership on program growth, data reporting, and community outreach efforts
