CDL Lease Purchase/Owner Operator Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and in full DOT/FMCSA compliance.
• Haul dedicated freight for key customers while meeting on-time pickup and delivery goals.
• Manage lease-purchase/owner-operator business tasks, including fuel, maintenance, and basic recordkeeping.
• Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Use ELDs and routing technology to plan efficient trips and maximize miles.
• Maintain accurate logs and shipment documentation.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and Premier Transportation staff.
• Collaborate with dispatch and planners to optimize routes and home time.
• Protect freight through proper loading, securement, and handling procedures.
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in ongoing training.
