Responsibilities

• Operate safely as a CDL Lease Purchase/Owner Operator hauling regional and/or OTR freight
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
• Manage on-time pickups and deliveries while maximizing miles and revenue
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support teams
• Protect freight through proper loading, securing, and handling
• Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and trip paperwork
• Manage fuel, tolls, and operating expenses as a small-business owner
• Participate in company safety meetings and training as required
• Deliver professional customer service representing Premier Transportation
