Vehicle Estimator

Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Estimator II to assess vehicle condition and repair needs for our telecommunications and media-focused automotive solutions. In this role, you will inspect vehicles (in person and via digital tools), document damage, and prepare accurate repair and value estimates aligned with company and client standards. You'll collaborate with auctions, dealers, and internal teams, leveraging estimation software and market data. The ideal candidate brings strong automotive/body shop experience, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles in person and via digital tools to assess condition and damage
• Prepare accurate repair and value estimates using industry-standard software and guides
• Document findings with photos and detailed line-item notes
• Collaborate with auctions, dealers, and internal teams on estimate questions and adjustments
• Apply company, client, and industry standards to all estimates
• Use market and valuation data to support pricing and condition reports
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets
• Follow safety, compliance, and data integrity guidelines
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools
