Cast Member

City Year seeks AmeriCorps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring to students in core subjects
• Build positive relationships to mentor students and encourage engagement
• Track and report student progress using established tools and data systems
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to identify student needs
• Support attendance initiatives, behavior expectations, and school-wide activities
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
• Communicate with families and community partners as appropriate
• Model City Year's values of service, inclusion, and social justice
